What does the warranty cover?

Thank you for purchasing this Mammut product. You have chosen high-end quality and durability.
Mammut products are subject to strict quality requirements. If the product you purchased from an authorized sports retailer, or directly from us, has a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it within the legal warranty period.
The warranty period is 30 months, or 12 months for commercial or professional use. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. It is important to note that the date of original purchase will be considered the warranty period.
Excluded from this warranty are damages resulting from accidents, improper use, normal wear and tear, fire, damage caused by other equipment with sharp edges (such as crampons, rocks, skis, etc.), and discoloration due to prolonged exposure to sunlight. Nevertheless , we are aware that such damages can occur and, in such cases, guarantee professional repair service at a fair price to extend the lifespan of your Mammut products.
It is important to know that we only accept pre-cleaned items. Garments must be washed: firstly, for hygiene reasons, and secondly, because seams are re-welded after each repair, and these repairs last longer on a clean garment.
The decision to repair, exchange, or refund the purchase price of a product rests with Mammut. To clarify any warranty claim, we ask that you bring the clean product and the purchase invoice to your authorized retailer or the nearest Mammut store. If you made the purchase through Mammut.com, please contact us via our support page to submit your request with the following information:
- a description of the defect
- detailed photos of the damage and the label
- in cases covered by the warranty, if possible, a copy of the invoice
We advise you not to modify your items in any way in order to maintain their warranty.

How do I request a repair or report a damaged or defective product?

We develop our products so you can enjoy them for as long as possible—so they offer the best possible protection and support on your adventures. However, those adventures wouldn't be adventures if they didn't put your gear to the test. If your product is faulty or damaged and requires repair, please follow these steps:
1. Complete our Repair Form and send it along with proof of purchase and a clearly visible photo of the damage.
2. We will review and, if possible, confirm your request.
3. Send the item to us by mail (the address will be provided with the repair confirmation). Please note that we can only repair clean products.
4. After receiving the item, we will assess the repair. If the cost exceeds your budget, you will receive a quote. You can find a quote in our Repair Price List . If a repair is not possible, we will offer an alternative solution.
5. As soon as it is ready for outdoor adventures again, we will return your product to you with an invoice.
We will do our best to get you back to the mountains as soon as possible.

How long does it take to repair or process a warranty claim?

You can expect an overall processing time of approximately 4 weeks, depending on your claim and the type of repair or final solution proposed.

Once we receive your request, we will need a few days to provide you with an initial assessment of the product in question. Once we have determined whether it is covered by the warranty and can be repaired, we will contact you with the most appropriate solution.
